Who Are We?
Homeward Bound K-9's is a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue. We are a NO KILL
shelter. All of our volunteers have jobs, families, and other important
commitments. We do Canine rescue because we want to make a
difference for those Dogs that are not blessed with good homes.
Homeward Bound K-9's is dedicated to placing dogs in our care into
loving and dedicated forever homes.
Most of our rescued dogs come from local kill shelters, are owner
surrenders, or have been found as strays.
Homeward Bound K-9’s does not have a shelter with hours of
operation.. Rescued dogs stay in kennels or foster homes, where they
receive vet care, nutritious food, and love. While in our care, dogs are
evaluated by a veterinarian and receive any treatment necessary. All
dogs are up to date on their shots, micro-chipped, and spayed or
neutered before going to their adopted home. In addition, we provide a
personality evaluation of each dog to ensure a better match between
dog and prospective forever homes.
